Any way to shortcut AIM?

I was wondering if there was any way to put a shortcut of Netscape's AIM on the Desktop without launching Netscape.

find the executable (usually where netscape was installed) copy it and put it on the desktop and give it the icon of your choice.

Yes, there is a way to do it. I remember doing it when I needed to transfer a bunch of files and netscapes AIM did it the best. I believe the executable for the netscape AIM was in the netscape directory. So go into that and find the AIM executable and then just create a shortcut (right click on desktop and select "Link to Application" if you are using KDE.) on your desktop and have it execute that in a shell (on the execute tab). Sorry this couldn't be more descriptive but I made my shortcut almost six months ago and I no longer have netscape installed.

Can you give me the file name to launch AIM? I can't seem to find it.
I have installed netscape in /usr/local/Netscape but there dosen't seem to be any AIM files except the config files.
bump...
