Question Any substitute to CorelDraw or Adobe etc. ?

Hi,

I m using openoffice draw for designing purpose like pamphlets, catalogues etc. from a year. My operating system is Ubuntu 9.10.
But now OpenOffice draw is not satisfy my projects.
So, I come to know that is there any other package like this where I can do my work more effectively.

Thanks in advance.
bye, tc

You don't say what features you are looking for.....

Have you looked at Inkscape?

Also, if you have CorelDraw for Windows, it might run on WINE or CrossOver

Scribus[/URL] ? It's in the 'buntu repositories, so you can just install and try it:

But I'll second Inkscape (also in the repositories), because it is awesome !
