there are some solutions, but if you're using ext2fs on your linux you can try this:

This one is better even if for now a bit more buggy:

In fact you can use your favourite file manager ro browse ext2 and ext3 fs and it's imo a lot better.

I post it 'cause it's quite hidden in the page posted before.
