Question Any program to print CD-Covers?

Hi!!!

I need really much a program to print out some CD covers I've done myself. I cannot find any program for Linux which does it easily. I've search at google two seemed nice:

cdlabelgen

I simply could not use this one. I don't want any command line printer. I've nothing against command line tools, but when I need to print or paint, no way to use command line. I did not even bother much with this one...

Another one, graphically nice to use is Kover. I'm getting many error messages during compiling and I'm not sure what it could be. Maybe, because it's a KDE program and I don't have it installed... I dunno. Anyway, I would like to hear any suggestions from you guys. Do you know/use any good graphical CD Covers program? On Windows I was used with CoverXP, but I'm lost here with Linux...

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

Look at this one (no, I haven't tried it ;}):

Also, it shouldn't be too hard using the Gimp
or even openOffice....

Cheers,
Tink

Lightbulb Cool idea with Gimp

Hi Tinkster!!!

Thanks for the reply and sorry for taking so long to answer you... I think I've accidentally remove my e-mail notification so .

Anyway, the cover looks nice by the screenshots. I've just tried to compile it and it asks for JRE (Java Runtime Environment). I went to sun's homepage and did not find it . Only Java SDK which is over 70 megas... a little too big to make a cdcover to run . I've heard that only JRE is about 12 megas (into this CD cover README)... I just cannot find that JRE

Well, anyway, thanks a lot my friend. I will keep trying. Although, Gimp would be nice too... I just need to create an image, A4 size and place two small images (CD case size and the etiquettes I have are two CD's /page) into the bigger image and there I've got a template Thanks for the tip .
