any other scaner softwar other than SANE

My scanner isn't supported by SANE and i was wandering if there is another way to get it to work?

I have a usb visoneer 5800 one touch

Not really no, they all use SANE on the backend

There are a number of projects that add extra drivers to SANE, try seeking one of those out. It may have what you need.

I know of at least one commercial product
that supposedly even handles UMAX
scanners that don't have any support
in Linux' kernel or USB projects.

Don't know what it costs, though :)
