Any good web page creating programs ?
does anyone know any good programs one can use on linux to design web pages (HTML) ?

I would highly recommend downloading and installing NVU which is one of the better HTML editors that are available for Linux users. You should be able to download and install binaries for your distro from http://www.nvu.com

Nvu is the way to go for a open-source modern website editor. I use programming editors for websites, since that's how I code. Nvu is still useful, especially if you code mostly client-side and want valid XHTML.

I also recommend N|vu but it is a bit quirky and DOES have its issues. Be prepared to deal with those if you choose to stick with N|vu.
