any good image viewing soft in Linux that is simular to ACDSEE?
 

I am looking for soemthing that will go foward and backwards inside a folder and display images in sequence; or has a forward and backward arrow for the "next mage".

I know this is sort of redundant redundant, but...

XnView is really slick. I use it for all my digital stuff. It does conversion from and to almost any format. Makes nice slideshows, too. My wife even uses the WIN version now, she is a convert from ACDSEE.

ps - it scrolls forward and back through the directory with the mouse wheel...

Great little app, connects to cameras, does slide shows, batch resizes/naming, convert a directory of images into an mpeg, create html picture galleries for the web.............. I love it. It isn't a advanced graphic editing program, but instead has most of the features an every day user would want for picture management.
