Any Automated Testinfg Tool for Diagnosis of linux os

I want to know is their any open source automated testing tool, which can do the general diagnosis for the system like Kernel information, Number of daemons running, file system consistancy,Number of active/dead processess and general H/W fauliures etc.
please let me know.
