Anti-virus software


What's a good anti-virus program for linux. Preferably one that's either free or cheap and can be downloaded and installed .rpm

ClamAV should be what you looking for.

Why is there a need for an anti virus program? when linux doesn't read exe files unless you are using crossover.

Short answer, for your windows computers. Long answer, do a search and you will find a few threads explaining this.
