Another WM with Xnest

How do I run another WM with Xnest or is there a WM that do not chck such a thing? I want to test an application. With for example iceWM.

When I do this :

#Xnest -ac -full :1&
#icewm -display :1&
# IceWM: using /root/.icewm for private configuration files
IceWM: Another window manager already running, exiting...

I do not want to reboot or change session etc to test it.

I use mandriva 2006 and KDE.

I'm not sure if you can do it with Xnext (well, why?) but you could always try to start another X session on another terminal; that's pretty good especially if you just test some apps and don't run two X servers all the time. You could then (for example) jump from your "normal" X session to the other one pressing ctrl+alt+f8 and get back with ctrl+alt+f7. And how to achieve this? With startx (read man page, it's good for you).
