Angry Another Wine Compilation Error

Ok. So when I install the RPM for RedHat9, i get errors when I try to run halflife. I perfer the Direct X gameplay because it seems to rrespont to lag better for me so I downloaded the Wine-20031016 source tar file and extracted it.

When I run the ./tools/wineinstall it runs fine but when it prompts to install i get a list of errors at the end. Does anyone know the Error codes or what could be causing this. I know other people have had this problem.

stabs+ -Wpointer-arith -g -O2 -o directx.o directx.c
In file included from directx.c:34:
d3d8_private.h:-33750: internal error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <URL:http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/> for instructions.

Thanks in advance

Ouch!

The first thing to do is submit a bug report as the output suggested. What version of gcc is that?
