Another Bash Bug???

Hi, all. I recently recompiled bash-4.0, but for some reason, the o character refused to work. I can neither type nor paste it, but auto-completion was fine. I know that the o on the keyboard works. (that is how I'm typing this message) It is fine in both my other Linux and my Window... It is really driving me mad. All thoughts on the matter will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

okay. I've tested it. The o key works fine with dash. Also, I booted into my live Ubuntu CD, and when I run the bash of my Linux box, it works as well. I am guessing that the actual problem would be with some of my libraries? But I tried recompiling all libraries that bash is linked to, but it still won't work.
