Anjuta cant create GNOME 2 Projects
I've been wanting to write a small program for personal purposes in GNOME using Anjuta. I've noticed something strange when I start a new project. I have various options, a GTK project, SDL, XLIB, and GNOME Applet, but no GNOME project? No GNOME 2 Project?
I have the GNOME development libraries installed as far as I know, but the option to create a GNOME 2 project just doesn't appear. I believe Anjuta does wxWidgets as well as quite a few others. With older distros on other machines I have, I can start a GNOME project, but thats missing here. What am I missing? This is the version of Anjuta that comes with Fedora Core 11 (its up to date). I've got all the devel packages installed I think I need. |
You could check to see if you have a package like gnome-devel or similar and install it if it isn't already there.

The error is that the plugins to create GNOME 2 projects is missing from the Fedora 11 package.
I copied the /gnome directory and the gnome-* files from the /usr/share/anjuta/project/ directory from another earlier fedora installation and copied it to the same directory on my Fedora 11 installation. That seems to have fixed the issue. |
