What are your opinions of it? I was looking at screenshots and it looked pretty nice. Also, I liked KDevelop. The only problem is that I want to stay on GNOME. Any solutions?

I like it alot. Never used KDevelop but I've also heard that it is nice also. Others swear by vim or emacs. Take your pick.

I use anjuta, and it's lightweight and very nice, however i switched to VIM, it's better fitting to my simple personality

I use Anjuta and it's really cool, the editor is fantastic, absolutely syntax-aware, phrase-completion, integrated help, good class browser..... all really really good except the debugger... it simply does not work for me. I'm using GVD instead of the integrated debugger. Not 100% IDE.
