Animating Software for linux


Hello
I'm trying to animate our company logo for a website.
Can someone suggest an easy to use program capable of helping us create our website?
Im using SUSE 9.1 just fyi.
I've tried using Gimp, but its a little complex.

I quite often use gimp but you can also use ImageMagick to convert static images into animations if you prefer.
