An easy2install and easy2use, fast desktop environment

I'm running a pentium1 processor and GNOME and KDE definitely run very slowly on it. Please recommend me a desktop environment which is easy to install and use and is fast. I saw Icewm and Xfce4. Both claim to be fast but I have to configure a lot of things before I'll be able to use those and I'm on haste right now that I dont have time to do that. Is there something else that is easier to install?

I'll bet "fvwm-95" will run pretty fast on anything.
I messed with it some time ago and it seemed pretty staight foward.
