aMule says that wxWidgets does not support large files

Hey!

My problem is very urgent and looks as follows:
I use slackware 10.2, kde;
Mission: install aMule;

aMule needs wxWidgets, so I download wxWidgets sources and do:

Code:
./configure --prefix=/wxWidgetsPkgDir --enable-large-file
seems ok so I do:
Code:
make
make install
makepkg
installpkg
I check the output. It says: '(...)large files support...yes'

Then I download the sources of aMule and do:

Code:
./configure --prefix=/aMulePkgDir
and the script says that wxWidgets does not support large files and that I have to reinstall it so I enable the option!

please, help.
