AMSN wont start after install on redhat
Hi Im a newb who is leaving/has left windows...im having a small prob...I installed amsn with the linux installer and when I click the icon or even type in the command it doesnt start...am I missing something?

Open a terminal, then type amsn and report back here with error messages

when I type /opt/amsn-0.94/amsn
I get /usr/bin/env: wish: no such file or directory found
when I type simply amsn
I get: command not found

That's very strange mate . Try changing first into the directory where the applications is and try running it from there:
cd /opt/amsn-0.94/
./amsn
don't run this as root either, and see if any errors are reported.

You need Perl-tk installed to run amsn. Do you have it installed? Is it in an abnormal directory? Did you add it to your $PATH? These are things that you shouldn't need to do manually. RH should take care of that for you when it installs the packages.
