Amsn problems sending files
Good morning,
I have 2 computers with linux one (server) is sharing the net with the others and have slackware 9.1. Another one has mandrake 10.0 and is a client. My problem is that i can't send files by amsn from mandrake (client pc) , thi same computer has Xp too and i can send files by msn messenger. So i flush the iptables from Mandrake and disable it too. But the problem continue.. i used ethereal to see what was happening because i have all firewalls disable.. THEN when i was sending and using the sniffer ethereal i saw thins: src: 192.168.0.2 dst: 207.x.x.x.x So i am giving my local ip to the one who is receiving the file, if i serve and he is the client , his computer will look for my ip 192.168.0.2 obviously this is a local ip and so he can't find me !! but this only happens with amsn anyone knows what i can do?? ps: i tried when i send the file to put the ip (amsn permits that) but still giving the 192.168.0.2!!!   |
