aMSN Problem

Hello. I just installed myself a fresh copy of SuSE 9.1, and I want to put aMSN on it. I downloaded it, installed it, everything is fine, but when I try to connect, it keeps telling me "contact does not exist". Is that Micro$oft's litttle gift to the world of Linux, or is there a way around that?

Thanks!
