im trying to install amsn for fedora core 4 ive got the file for it its a .rpm file

im just totally unsure how to install it.

i tried yum install "file name".rpm and it started to install it this is wot it looked like so far:

Package Arch Version Repository Size
amsn i386 0.94-1.1.fc2.dag amsn_0.94-1.1.fc3.rf_i386.rpm 7.7 M

Transaction Summary
Install 1 Package(s)
Update 0 Package(s)
Remove 0 Package(s)
Total download size: 7.7 M
Is this ok [y/N]:

Then i put in y for yes and i got this back:

Downloading Packages:
warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 6b8d79e6

[root@localhost Downloads]#

What does this mean? does this mean that its because i aint Activated my copy of linux or somet :S

please help if you can.

Cheers Craig

Fedora is free. No activation, nothing.

What you can do is head to the amsn page ( ) and download the rpm from there. Then open it and it should install. Hope this helps.
