can someone tell me why i get an error?

after installing america's army i tried to run it but i got this error:

Two little errors that I can see. First, if you've installed Nvidia Drivers, substitute this:

Cool, I hope I can also help a friend of mine in the forum with a similar problem . Well

1) For the sound, you have to check if your distribution has a tool for it. Redhat has the good sndconfig (simply type it on the console, or install the package if it returns an error). However, if you are using a distro as Slackware, you will have to load the right module (or compile the right one into the kernel). For example, I've a laptop 166 mhz with an inbuild sound card 100% Sound Blaster Compatible. To enable sound in Slackware, I've to simply do this at the terminal:

modprobe sb

as root. Try findingh first if your distro has tools and if you card is supported. If your distro don't have the tools, try finding your modules on google .

2) To enable TV-Out it's necessary to add a couple of lines into your /etc/X11/XF86Config at Section "Device"

Somethings to keep in mind though. The line Option "MetaModes"has to be kept in pairs as described at Nvidias docs. The line Option "TVStandard" "Pal-B" as you see, is set to Pal-B, system color used in a big part of Europe, including Sweden. Some countries as US and Japan uses NTSC. There are many different ones as Pal-m on South America, Pal-G on central Europe and so on. Set the one your TV handles .

To sum up, the line Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO" is also referent to your TV-Out. Here we use a cable called Scart, so SVIDEO is the one I've to use. You may need also to change that to Option "TVOutFormat" "Composite" (not sure if it's right though) depending of your TV/Country/TVOutFormat.

The way you did on windows, changing the TV to channel 0 is the same. The only difference is that you don't have to click on anything. If you have image at the monitor, you have image at the TV. It's automatically. The line "CloneView" is the responsable for it.

No problems, you are welcome. Let's hope somebody can find out what is missing. I also don't see anything wrong and I've read it for like 10x now
