I am trying to setup a little php/mysql program called AMember (i got it off of I get an automated startup but I do not believe that mysql/php/apache are running correctly. when i get my phpinfo() I do not see much pretaining to mysql and when i do the setup.php script given to me with AMember it halts after a little while, i suppose this is because mysql is not working. What is the easiest way to setup mysql with php?

I am using redhat 9 and apache/php/mysql are from RPMs

my skill level is very low also
