amarok window at log in

I have a very silly problem! I have Ubuntu 8.10 and I use amarok media player. Amarok starts up at log in on my panel- I want that. But the irritating thing is that the player window pops up at log in. This is a new problem- I don't remember changing any settings of amarok in recent past.
Can somebody help me?

You don't say whether you're using Amarok 1.x or 2.x, but I know under 2.x, you can go under Settings->Configure Amarok, and under the "General" button, there's a checkbox for "Show splash screen on startup". If you uncheck it, it should stop.

Thanks for your reply. I am using amarok 1.4.10. I looked at the amarokrc file in .amarok folder. I changed the option 'HiddenOnExit=false' to true and that seemed to work!
