Amarok Volume changes

Hi everyone. I use Amarok with a few .mp3 files in my playlist. The volume on my taskbar icon is full. When a track starts it falls down to half (which is almost no audio) I must push the volume up. Then as soon as another track starts,again the volume drops to half way. I cant seem to find where to fix this. Any help appreciated.

I suspect this is due to you using the default Helix engine? Try changing to the Xine engine and see if it fixes it!

thanks so much. I changed the engine to Xine and it all works perfect.
