Amarok Q- Am I missing something obvious?

I recently deleted my XP os and installed OpenSuSE 11.0 as my lone os.
I had an iTunes account, I copied/burned my songs to CD as a wav file.
I have done this previously when I had a dual-boot system and Amarok played the wav files just fine...or so I thought.

If I go to my music folder (the majority of files are mp3) and double-click a wav file Amarok plays it just fine...but when I try to add the same 16 files to my playlist I get an error that basically says "Some media types are unplayable"

Is there something obvious that I'm missing...a plugin, codec...my engine is GStreamer/Yauap...where in the past I believe it was LAME, could this be it?

The amarok that comes with Suse is crippled, and won't play what they call "restricted formats"
Try replacing the suse version with the one from Packman. Here's a link to a community forum that will help opensuse-community.org/Multimedia
Also, I had to switch amarok to the xine engine to get mp3's to work even after changing to the packman version.

hayglenn719...thanks for replying...

The mp3's I have play just fine with the version of Amarok that I have, its the "wav" files that are the problem...will check out your link/url and xine engine comment is noted...thanks again.
