amarok + nmm + videos

Hi all,

I've been trying to get amarok to play videos (with nmm support) for a long time now. And now I'm starting to get very frustrated. Finally after a very long time I was able to successfully build nmm and then amarok.

Amarok now recognizes the NMM engine and plays audio files but it does not play videos (I don't know why? maybe I did not configure it properly)

On the NMM official site, they had some instructions for testing whether your NMM was working correctly or not. I tried those and my NMM seems to be working just fine.

I'm klueless as to how to get amarok to play videos with it. Has anyone been able to play videos with NMM ? .
I tried google but it didn't help

When I try to play a video file amarok gives the error message :
Code:
So far no status available for this host entry.
Probably this means the host has not been used yet for playback.
I'm trying this on Slackware 10.2. I'll provide any relevant information that's required.
PLease help!!!

Thanks in anticipation
