Since Amarok isnt part of Gnome is isnt placed correctly however im with you and install it anyway.

'Right Click' the Applications Menu,
'Click' Edit Menus

You'll see all the icons & programs in a list.

Drag the Amarok Icon to your preferred place
'Multimedia'?

I think you must have misunderstood it. When amarok i running there is a little icon that shows how much of the song you have heard an when you have the mouse over it you can see what amarok is playing and who made the song etc. It use to be with the volume control button to the left of the time and date if you understand?

But now it's gone so the problem is a new... How do i get it back?
