Amarok help please!
Hi there.
I am tired of searching Google endlessly so let me try here.
Basically, does anyone know how to activate themes and/or splash screens for Amarok 2.8? Because I go to kde-look.org, for example, and find the Amarok theme I want and do as the author says to install, such as going to folder /home/.kde4/share/apps/amarok/ and just install 'image' into the images folder. Same applies with themes and putting in themes folder. However, restarting and relaunching Amarok, none of my customizations appear. Nor is there any where in the "configure Amarok" tab to activate either of these features. So can anyone suggest something I am doing wrong or what i am not doing? Thank you.

in the 2.8-beta1 splash screen was removed due to a bug in the Windows OS (there is no more code), but you can patch 2.8 to have it back (provided you wan't complain about a nasty bug in windows )
as for themes, i'll have to take a look at source code

Thanks but...
Hi Thank you for replying... its not so much even the splash screen but just changing Amarok's theme, such as from the stock grey overall appearance to more like a faded black perhaps? Thanks.

Also, I am not running Windows, I am running openSuSE so Windows bugs should remain irrelevant.
