Amarok crashes when connecting Ipod

Every time that i start up amarok, it crashes if my ipod is connected to it. so i launched amarok from command prompt to get some sort of error code. but i wasn't able to figure out what it means.

Code:
amarok: [MediaBrowser] running pre-connect command: [mount /dev/sda2 /mnt/ipod]
amarok: [MediaBrowser] pre-connect: e=0
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
  Major opcode: 7
  Minor opcode: 0
  Resource id: 0x2e0001c
anyone have any ideas?

I reinstalled gtkpod and now amarok no longer crashes. it seems as if amarok is just writing the track titles to my ipod. in other words, i can see the songs but it doesn't play them. and amarok can't play any songs from it at all. when i try to play a song it gives me this in the terminal

Code:
[PlaylistLoader] The following urls were not suitable for the playlist:
amarok: [PlaylistLoader] file://s2%082/iPod_Control/Music/F17/ZKUG.mp3
and it turns out looking like a lot of blocks in the gui when it should be /mnt/ipod/iPod_Control/...
