Amarok can't write AAC/M4A tags
I'm running Amarok 1.4.4 on Fedora Core 6 with the Xine engine. It can play M4A files just fine, but it can't write to tags. What do I need to install for tag-writing support?

I had this problem as I was playing songs stored on a windows partition on my hard drive. Amarok can't write to NTFS disc space. Are your music files on a windows partition?
Just a thought. |
None of my music files are on a separate partition. Also, there is a new tool called NTFS-3G (which I have installed) that allows Linux to write to NTFS partitions, so I don't think there would be a problem either way.
I also downloaded this program called EasyTAG, but it needs mpeg4ip to edit M4A tags. So I went ahead and got that, but when I try to install, it gives me errors: Quote:
