amaroK & MySQL

amaroK 1.4.6
MySQL 5.0.24a
I've tried to setup MySQL to use with amaroK through this howto http://amarok.kde.org/amarokwiki/index.php/MySQL_HowTo but it doesn't help.

"ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'mysql -u root"

Can anybody tell the right way to setup this stuff??
