Amarok 2.2.0 crashing [FIXED]

Greetings:

Running Debian testing (with some packages from unstable branch) under the KDE4.3

I have recently had a problem with Amarok 2.2.0 crashing immediately upon starting.
As this happened right after I upgraded libc6, I had (incorrectly) assumed that it was a libc6 issue and had figured that it would be fixed soon.

Well, it wasn't a libc6 issue, and it wasn't fixed soon, so I started actually looking for a solution.

Removing the ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok directory fixed the problem.

However, I no longer had my ratings and such.

I manually moved some files/directories from my backup of the old amarok directory to the newly-generated amarok directory. Sorry, I can't recall which ones exactly, but they were the files that defined the dynamic playlists, the directory in which the covers lived, and the directory in which Amarok's database lived.

Now, I don't know what the actual problem was, and I probably could have narrowed it down to a small set of files in the amarok directory that had caused the problems.... but I'll leave that as an exercise for the more motivated.
