Amarok 1.3.3 won't update media library

I'm using Amarok to manage my MP3s, and I ripped a new CD today, and the tracks won't show up unless I manually load my library via Playlist>Add media. Every once in a while, it will say that it's updating my collection, but when I search for a new file, it never loads. Any idea what the issue is? Oh, and how do I stop the popup from showing up when I play a song?

For library:
the tracks which u just ripped must be in the directory(ies) configured to be scaned for changes.
Settings->Configure Amarok...->Collection

For popup:

Settings->Configure Amarok...->OSD

Hope this helps
