Am I dowing someting wrong
mkdir /mnt/1
mount /dev/hdb1 /mnt/1
cd /mnt/1
dd if=/dev/hda of=backup-hda.mbr count=1 bs=512
sfdisk -d /dev/hda > backup-hda.sf
clear
dd bs=2048b if=/dev/hda1 | split -b 2000m - /mnt/1/1.img
The bs=2048 command has no effect when I run this, I've tried bs=4096 and it also has no effect. It takes about 35 Mins for a 20 Gig hdd and even with the above bs parameters in it stays on 30 mins.
Any ideas?
