Question Alternatives to WINE?

I'm curious as to what you guys think about WINE and its alternatives. Any recommendations?

there was another one that would let your run 16-bit application on Linux called Wabi. I don't know if it's available anymore but try googling it. Or try VMWare that will emulate another PC (but you have to have your own version of Windows). Bochs is another one but not commercial.

Is VMWare free, and is it more stable than WINE?
