Alternative for Imagination

Hello.

Well, the title for this thread might sound strange, but I am talking about this program:

http://imagination.sourceforge.net/

I've been using it (despite its problems and annoyances) for several months to compose DVDs with my personal photos and stuff. The problem is that for some strange reason the "export" functionality stopped working. For those who cares, when I try to export it seems to work as usual, but there's no file where there should be one. There's no error, not in the xterm I launch it, nor in ~/.xsessions-errors where I can see only this (related to Imagination):

Code:
ffmpeg -f image2pipe -vcodec ppm -r 30,00 -aspect 4:3 -s 720x576 -i pipe: -f flac -i /tmp/img_audio_fifo -vcodec libtheora -b 1024k -acodec libvorbis -f ogg -y "/home/i92guboj/bendicion.ogv"
Tried vob and ogv, neither worked.

I am tired of this program, but I know no alternative. Qdvdauthor seems to require qt3, which means unmaintained in may language (if I wanted that I already have imagination).

So, is there any straightforward to use DVD slide showmaker for linux?

Thanks.

Haven't used it, but last release was in May 2010, so it seems maintained.
http://www.dvdstyler.de/

This one is also current and depends on kde4 libs.

kmediafactory seems as buggy as the rest (it crashed when adding a few jpegs to make a simple slideshow).

I also tried "smile". It doesn't fit my -very basic- needs. You can't even stop (but killing the process).

Trying dvdstyler now.

Thanks for the suggestions.

If this doesn't work then I will have to roll my own using bash, as always when it comes to multimedia in Linux.

Thanks. I will investigate it. I assume it's not that straightforward as imagination but maybe it can do what I want.
