(also) Rotate Apache logs on-demand

Is it possible to make Apache immediately clear out its (access, error, ...) logs?
In addition to its regular log rotation, I would like to do log rotation on-demand.

Logrotate is a perfectly valid command that you can run at any time. If you don't want to do a complete log rotation, just set up a second logrotate.conf file and point to that when you do your on-demand logrotation.
