alsactl store

umm i asked this a while ago but no one answered so i'll try again, im running gentoo 2004.1 with kernel 2.6.5 and when i set my levels in alsamixer and then do alsactl store after i reboot the pcm(ii think this is what it is) channel is muted but i think that is the only one that doesnt get saved. any help? also this is unrelated and itjust started but if im deleting text or moving around text with the arrow keys it only moves once if i hold them down they dont go anymore, but they used to.

Do you use alsactl restore after reboot?

yeahi just figured that out i stuck it in the local startup script so everythings ok now, but thanks for responding?
