Alsaconf on startup

I searched through the threads for this one, and couldnt find anything similar. So maybe one of you all can help me out. I just figured out how to get the sound working on my thinkpad 600e with SuSE 9.1 personal edt. And now I have to run ALSAconf everytime I restart to computer. I was wondering if there is a way to have this run on startup so that I dont have to go through it everytime I have to restart? Thanks for looking in.

p.s. if you found this thread looking for a fix to the sound prob on the Thinkapd 600e check out the way I fixed it HERE

After you run alsaconf, run
Code:

alsactl store
That will store your current settings. -- J.W.

Thanks for the reply J.W. ,but it didnt seem to work. I tried it out, restarted the system to test it out, and when KDE was back up and running I ran a m3u file and no sound. Then I tried the alsaconf again, and it was back up and running.

I am having this exact same problem too, and I have posted a topic of my own. Nobody seems to know the answer, as I haven't gotten any good ones yet.
