I have Slackware 10.0 with 2.6.7 but due to a modem problem i had to install 2.6.6. Alsa was working just fine in 2.6.7 but in 2.6.6 i only have sound from my left side and woofer (I have a 5.1 sound system). Tryied alsamixer but didnt worked.... here is what lsmod gives me: (i think i have all the necessary modules)

just one more thing...i'm not sure the system is correctly using ALSA for sound output... because when in alsamixer i mute the Master channel i still get sound...

did the default install work properly??
if it ain't broke, why fix it???
