Alpha Centauri multiplayer trouble
 

Alpha Centauri patched and unpatched, starts up fine for me, however, when attempting to do multiplayer, the game crashes (both patched/unpatched).

This seems to be a glibc compatability issue?

Does anyone know of a way to get around this problem?

Here is what I get when the game crashes:

smac: dynamic-link.h:57: elf_get_dynamic_info: Assertion `! "bad dynamic tag"' failed.

BUG! Exception triggered, cleaning up.
