/all in pidgin (like Message Plus! for Windows Live Messener)
In Message Plus! for Windows Live Messenger, you can type /all and have it send the message to all open conversations, is there anything at all like this available for Pidgin?
TIA.

May I offer a few words?
1. You do not make friends(Or encourage us to volunteer replies) by posting to LINUXquestions about m$ windows programs, or asking "Why isn't linux like windows?". Most recreational users of linux don't like what m$ stands for.
2. Read up on pidgin and discover grep and google to shorten that process.
3. without doing (2) I don't know. There are many chat (irc) clients, and lesser protocols (e.g. icq) are also catered for. Pidgin is far from the only tool.

I don't believe a feature request or 'how do I do this in...' using an example from another program is out of line at all.
No clue if, or how, pidgin could do that, but the request format certainly isn't out of line.

I didn't think it was out of line either... guess some people just have a bad attitude. The more research that I do, the less likely I think that something like this exists, am going to perhaps have to make a plugin myself. Thanks for your time anyway.
