all gift downloads are corrupted :(

i have a problem with gift. it's installed and connecting to the fasttrack network fine, and i can search and download files. my problem is that once my downloads are 100% complete they are moved to ~/.gift/corrupted as corrupted files. this is not my download path, i have checked the settings over. any thoughts on why all files would be corrupted?

btw running slackware 10.

many thanks in advance,

norkers
