All DVD players crash with mandrake

Ok so i got Mandrake 9.2 almost working completely.. one of my main problems is my DVD player.

No matter what DVD player i use it always crash within about 30 seconds of playing.. i've tried Totem, Xine, Xmovie....

what's the deal? has anyone heard of this.. i really don't know what's going on here.. i'm a newbie by the way.. >=\

AWESOME!!! hehe thanks a lot.. all my DVD players work now (i'm gonna stick to xine... i wanted mplayer but their site doesn't let me DL it)
