Aldrin-sequencer, can't play past the first loop (it's driving me insane).

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how to use Aldrin the modular sequencer, but I'm having major issues. I can't seem to get past the first part, it just loops the same thing over and over and I'm going insane trying to figure out how to get it to play to the end of the second bar. I'll try to explain with some screen shots.

I've set up a sample like this;
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...1&d=1254411988

given it a sound and added it here;
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...1&d=1254412345
so it now plays that sample.

But when I add another sample, give it a sound and add it here just like the first one;
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...1&d=1254412695
it will still only play the first bit (in green) over and over again in a continuous loop. It never goes past the green bit to play the red and I can't understand why?

How do I get it to play through the whole song? I've tried looking for documentation but all I could find was the docs that get you started. I've followed those instructions and got thus far, but I'd like to continue, I just can't figure out how to do it.

Any help greatly appreciated, I'm really at my wits end with this. I'm running Fedora 9 64bit, any other info needed just ask.

Edit: Solved! It turns out, err, the loop was set to 1.5 seconds and the only way of changing this is with the key-combination Ctrl-b or Ctrl-e. ah.

Thanks for sharing the solution. That's the LQ spirit.

A suggestion for the future: If you answer your own question, put the solution in a separate post; this does 2 good things:
  • It generates e-mail to anyone who subscribed to either the thread or the forum.
  • It avoids the creation of oxymoronic 0-reply solved threads.
