ALCAS alternitive for linux


I am looking for a application that's like BPM or ALCAS (software to play mp3 files in pubs)

Does any one know a good alternative that runs on linux? (low system specs!!)

Don't know those but I'm sure you can find a FOSS alternative at Freshmeat or Sourceforge.

I don't know those either, but the lowest possible spec would be
using mpg321 with a playlist. All command-line, I'm sure a 486
with 32MB would be abundantly powerful.
