Akregator and Firefox Interaction

When I select a link in Akregator to open in an external browser, the browser always pops to the forefront. I don't want that. I want the browser to remain in the background until I finish browsing the stories in Akregator. Is there a configuration option or hack to stop Akregator from popping the browser forward?

I'm using Slackware 12.1, KDE 3.5.9 and Firefox 2.0.0.17.

Thanks.

Keep above

You can right-click the title bar of Akregator. One of the advanced options is to keep the window above others. When you are through clicking links in Akregator, undo the setting for the Akregator window and switch to your browser.

Nice hack. I knew about the Advanced options and use them with several apps. I never would have thought about what you suggested, however. Another nuisance out of the way!

Thanks much.

Another enhancement

You can also set the window properties for Akregator in KDE with the keep above option enabled initially, so that you don't have to explicitly set it when you start the program. I don't remember exactly how to get to the dialog to set it up (not running KDE right now), but it is there somewhere.
