Aircrack-ng test works but cant run normaly

Hello,

Sorry if this is the wrong subforum.
I have te following problem, if i start aireplay in test ("aireplay-ng -9 wlan0") it works fine.
However if i try and start it in the normal mode (as in the newbie guide of aircrack-ng) i get the folowing error:

$ sudo aireplay-ng --fakeauth 0 -e "Stille Willem 6" -a B0:48:7A:99:DC:76 wlan0 
No source MAC (-h) specified. Using the device MAC (E0:B9:A5:20:85:F4)
12:47:14  Waiting for beacon frame (BSSID: B0:48:7A:99:DC:76) on channel -1
12:47:14  wlan0 is on channel -1, but the AP uses channel 9

Hopefully someone seen this before.

On which distribution you running this command ?

Also verify , if NetworkManager service is running on your system.

Hi,

I'm using arch linux (64 bit) and i use netcfg without gui.
