I am trying to install AIGLX using the following link.
http://www.redhat.com/archives/rhl-d.../msg00971.html
When I get part way through the process I get an error
[root@fedora ares]# yum --enablerepo=aiglx update
runs through pulling the packages down but when it tries to resolve dependencies
--> Processing Dependency: geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc for package: geronimo-specs-compat
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc is needed by package geronimo-specs-compat
I also get this error when I try to do an update, it lists available updates showing geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.3jpp_7fc or similar but then it fails to resolve dependencies.
I tried to download the geronimo-specs_1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc rpm and do rpm --oldpackage but that errored as well.
Any ideas? I'm really new to this stuff, so try not to lose me with your advice. Thanks in advance. -rugger
